Did you know? 3.0, which was originally done by Karl Fisch and Scott McLeod, but then redone by John Strange, there are many very interesting and important fact's stated. Some people may say, I do not care how many honor roll students there are in India, but the fact that India out does the U.S. in education by a wide margin is cause for worry. The U.S. is apparently not doing something right, and if we want to live in a great country we have to have great individuals. So where do we create those individuals? Well, I believe we create them in the schools, at least for the very most part. The video also stated that in years to come the top jobs for the U.S. do not even exist yet! So how do we create workers for jobs we don't know about. My guess is you prepare them as a person the best you can, and hope they can adapt. Also, another interesting fact was that by 2025 there will be more English speaking Chinese people than there are native English speakers in the rest of the world. We as a country and especially we as teachers need to be prepared for that.
ALL parts of an assignment should be in ONE post. It takes five minutes extra (per post) for us to deal with separate posts. And with 140 students...add it up!
ReplyDeleteHi Jessica, I really enjoyed reading your post. You have a great since of wording and I only came across a few minor errors. Proofreading is going to be an essential task for all us this semester. With that being said you really don't have much to review, but just take at least five extra minutes to look over your work. My favorite of the assignments was Sir Ken Robinson's as well, he definitely kept me entertained throughout his speech. I also agree with Dr. Strange, remember each assignment is to be included all in one post. Good Luck this semester in Edm310!
